Rhythmology is the latest library developed by Sample Logic. It features a custom Engine which gives you full control over multiple loops; all in one instrument.

Rhythmology contains genre hoping loops ranging from Hip-Hip, House, Cinematic, and everything in between.  You can learn more by checking out Rhythmology at Sample Logic.

“Rhythmology is awesome!! Not only does it sound amazing but the functionality of their multiple loop cores gives me all the control I need in one patch. The randomization features and the ability to control FX on each individual step is game-changing.”

Pros & Cons

Having spent a few weeks working with Rhythmology, I found that the overall workflow can be tedious. However, a lot of the controls can be randomized which makes instant inspiration and custom sound design extremely user friendly and intuitive. There is a huge focus on randomization which makes trying to create your own custom melodic/rhythmic sequences difficult.  Overall, I would love to see some features that would help speed this process up such as demoing individual steps via a mouse-click or key-press on your keyboard.

Rhythmology sounds amazing out of the box and offers a long list of genre hopping loops that can cover just about any music production gig. I may not need this tool right now but I am confident that when I need loops or a time-saving tool, it will be my immediate go to library to get the job done.
