Recorded “At the Edge of Silence,” Albion V Tundra is Spitfire Audio’s latest release in their Albion Series. Created to evoke a “sonic tapestry that was of this Earth,” Tundra features a 100 piece orchestra that captures the the quietest recordings of samples that evoke the sound of Arvo Pärt, Sibelius, and Gorecki. Albion V Tundra retails for £329 and you can learn more at Spitfire Audio.

Albion V Tundra is absolutely breath taking. I loaded up the Flautando Legato patches and played for almost an hour straight before diving into the rest of Tundra’s massive collection of sounds. Not only is the orchestral palette so inspiring but the Vral Grid and Brunel Loops certainly give me that creative edge I’ve been desiring for my music.
