Review: Orchestral Brass Complete by Chris Hein

July 1, 2016 Christopher Harris No comments exist

Chris Hein’s latest release to his orchestral library series is Orchestral Brass Complete. This library features 9 solo instruments (Trumpets, Horns, and Trombones). Through the use of the phase-aligned technique, Chris Hein has given us the ability to blend seamlessly from one dynamic to the next, capturing the true colors of the brass section. There are many orchestral brass libraries on the market ranging in different styles and character, Orchestral Brass Complete gives me more than enough control to write for Brass in any context. The Expressive Dynamic articulations really bring my lyrical lines to life and the shorts give me enough bite for those epic fanfares.
