“Strings In Motion.” That is the subtitle of Spitfire Audio’s latest installment in their Evo Grid series. Evo Grid 3 focuses on rhythmic string ensemble phrases that range from minimal motion to morphing textures that evoke fear and tension.  Based around the EMS VCS3‘s design, Spitfire has created a user interface that gives you an abundance of configurations that will certainly help jump start the creative process. Evo Grid 3 retails for £179 and can be purchase at Spitfire Audio.

Evo Grid 3 features a comprehensive list of rhythmic string patterns that allow me to weave a tapestry of textures together.  Anytime I can incorporate real patterns into my music, I know the results will be great. Evo Grid 3 is certainly a refreshing installment to the Evo Grid series.
