Review: Nocturne Cello by Orchestral Tools

Nocturne Cello is Orchestral Tools’ second release in their Soloist Series. Building off of the concept behind Nocturne Violin, Orchestral Tools has captured this Cello using the same environment and microphones, leading to a library that feels full and complete. This library is designed to give you a very flexible palette of articulations that cater to the “lyrical” side of writing. Nocturne Cello can be purchased for € 249. You can learn more about this library at Orchestral Tools website.

Nocturne Cello gives me more than enough playing styles that help me fully conceptualize my solo cello performances.  This versatility is unparalleled in terms of giving me a Legato instrument that works at any BPM.  Orchestral Tools has taken the guess work out of programming my solo line with Nocturne Cello.
